This is the cover page of MS IFC if you type in http://www.maggieshiu.net on your browser.

Maggie sent the message/wish through a fans in July 2005.

R E G I S T R A T I O N

 

1. After you click the "BBS" button, you will see this Forum Main Page. Typing www.maggieshiu.net/bbs at your browser will also direct you to this Main page.

Click the "Register" button (2nd button from the left)..

 

 

2. After that you will be directed to this "Terms and Rules" page. Click the "I Agree" button.

 

3. Fill up the questions as directed. Click the "Register" button

 

You will see this welcoming message

 

and the Forum Main Page with your ID shown at the left upper corner.

 

Congratulation, you are registered. Yippi !!!

 [NOTICE: You can post message 24 HOURS AFTER registration]

LOG IN / OUT

I suggest you to bookmark/favorite this Forum Main Page ( http://www.maggieshiu.net/bbs ) instead of entering the forum through cover page (unless you want to enjoy Maggie's pretty picture on the cover page, ha...ha..., which I do regularly).

1. On the Main page, enter your ID, password, and the 4-digit number before clicking the "Log in" button.

2. You will be directed to this page :

Then automatically directed back to the Main Page in less than 10 seconds. If you are not automatically directed, click the "Back to main page" button.

3. You should see this main page.

Notice the "Log out" button? Click it when you are tired.

4. If by any chance you uncorrectly type-in your ID, password, or the 4-digit number, you will be directed to this page:

Don't worry, just re-type them and click the "Log in" button.

5. On the Main Page, the English Zone is here:

You are now ready to express yourself.

POSTING NEW MESSAGE

Now you are ready to post your first message. These pictures will guide you.

Except for some chinese characters, other icons are basically universal.

Do the same when you reply to other postings.

He...he..., quite tired after creating this tutorial. I hope it will be useful for chinese-blind newcomers. I understand how frustrating it is to register to this chinese-base forum. Do try to register, please.

Audrey, I wonder how you,a Thai, manage to successfully register to this forum. Do you know chinese? Or somebody else help you?

First of all thanks for showing how to register :) I'm sure it's so helpful!!!

By the way, I'm absolutely Thai who didn't know anything about Chinese at all ...and no one helped me at that time...

But I had a translation website link from Anson (you know her, right?)

It was kinda messed me up :) I spent up all night for doing that :) But it worthy, I can tell.
